PONY ADVENTURE
A downloadable game for Windows
This game is a tribute to all those folks who enjoyed the 8-bit era, specifically playing with MSX games. One of my favourite titles of all time was Penguin Adventure (it is said to be the first game in which Hideo Kojima was involved, although marginally). My idea of programming this game comes from many years ago, and I attempted many times to finish it, without success. Finally I found the motivation to start again in 2024, and during the last months any single minute of my free time has been dedicated to complete the game. I have enjoyed a lot during this time, and I hope you enjoy also playing it!!
CONTROLS:
Movement: Cursors / Gamepad D-pad / WASD
Jump: Space / GamePad A
Shoot: Keyboard N / GamePad B
Pause: Keyboard P / GamePad Start
Exit Game and back to Main Menu: Keyboard ESC / GamePad Select
In this release Level A and Level B have the same difficulty!!!

i finished the game the princess dead why?
In the orignal game, you must pause 1, 5, 9, 13... (4*n+1) in order to save the princess. In This remake, I kept the same rule. If you take a look at the tree in the map, there is a small green apple if you have paused the right amount of times

i prefer the player start with 4 or 5 lives at the beginning
